The event was the largest in the head vase convention with over 300 attendees. Maddy Gordon and Dave & Yvonne Barron (author of the newest book Collecting Head Vases) host and organize the entire event. Dave, also the host and producer, had everyone laughing with this contest and also the "newly-head" game contest. Door prizes were given out and coffee & cake were served. After this, all the dealers that were set up in their rooms accepted visitors and hopefully sold lots of the heads that they brought from all over the country.

Many of the dealers have sales going on in their rooms so you can wander about the floors and buy heads in these rooms before the sale that is open to the public. The first room that I visited on Friday morning was that of Mary E. and I couldn't believe her collection. Her head vases completely filled her hotel room, all over the bed and dressers. Blake's room was also FILLED with them, and several other dealers and collectors had their rooms open for pre-sales.
