Say hello to Nancy!
I got interested in these lovely ladies when the glassware I had been trying to collect was
almost extinct. I saw these ladies in a antique store and was fascinated by their faces, hats
and gloved hands. I told my brother and he mentioned that Mom had one in her guest
bedroom. I didn't even know she had one and of course she gave it to me. I now have 27
head vases, eight which were bought this month. My husband helps me in my search for
lady head vases and we love to go to flea markets and antique stores.
I got very lucky and through the Internet talked with Kay Johnson. She gave me a name of a lady living
in Tulsa, 15 minutes from my home, who had a collection of over 600 head vases, she had
sold over 300 at the convention. I went over this weekend and purchased six of her
duplicates. (Talk about head-hunters heaven) Besides my husband, children, and six
grandchildren, I definately love the head vases. I hope to be able to attend the 98 head
vase convention.
I hope you enjoy the pictures - these were four of the heads I bought from my new friend in Tulsa.
Sincerely,
Nancy Lloyd
