HFH #17!

HFH #17 Taken from an Ebay auction:

"LARGE WOMAN HEADVASE I am offering up for auction a lovely woman headvase. She is approximately 6 1/2" tall. Her hair is done in curls on top of her head and she is sporting a blue headband. Her shirt is blue with a flower print that is embossed in the pottery with a ruffled collar and matched the headband. She has pearl dangle earrings and both are intact. This woman has seen alot of wear as she has lost paint over the years as seen in the photos. The paint could be restored which would make it even lovelier. While she doesnt have any chips or crazing she does have 2 hairline cracks on both sides of her head. One is approximately 2" from the top and the other is approximately 3" from the top. I tried to get a photo of them but they blend in with her hair. There are a few smaller ones that arent quite 1" around the top.

Despite all this she is still a lovely headvase.

Her bottom is marked with a large R with Japan in the center of it and the number 4104 below it. This would be a nice one to add to your collection."

Remarks: Yes! This would be a nice one to add to YOUR collection, not mine! I would love to meet the person that can restore this one! Kris found this one, and I think Mary will like to have the earrings! I gave her a little frost & tip job, her eyes looked pretty bad so I gave her some glasses too. When it comes to HFH - this one is a perfect 10!
