Still working on the pictures - but the disney and the Wizard of OZ pics are working now. Dept. 56 retires their boxes every year - a limited number are made so you may pre-order now if you know which ones you will like to have.

01/26/2006 Thursday Harley-Davidson I finally got around to revamping our Harley-Davidson pages and listing the 1997 Little Cruisers and Ornaments. These are retired items, all brand new in original boxes. They had been boxed and forgotten at the warehouse since 1997! I have a couple more boxes to list and should have that done by Monday.

04/01/2005 Friday Update on Everything!!! News: We have been at spring trade shows this week, returning to Austin today. This show was a combination Gift-collectibles and Fashion Apparel. The hightlight of the trip was the runway fashion show! The trend for the spring is definately BLING. Each outfit was dripping or accented in sparkle & crystals. So...... while I can't add all these fabulous clothes to our store, I couldn't resist a few accessories. Watch for my "Bling Belts, I'll add the pictures this week. I have belts and combination belts/scarves. The scarves can even be worn with a simple t-shirt or as a belt with your favorite jeans. These are a great way to jazz up a casual outfit. Other items that I found are: More "glamour boxes", Limoges Boxes, and LOTS more half-dolls. My favorites in the dolls that I found are a collection of SIX "Grecian Goddess" half dolls on stands and some new Brides. All items COMING SOON to Christine's Closet!!

03/22/2005 Tuesday Update on Everything!!! Happy Spring!! We are back this week from our spring break, we closed up the shop and went to the beach last week, Belleair Beach in Florida!! What a great week we had, now back home, Spring has definately arrived in Austin, today I feel like I'm back in Florida. Now all caught up on shipping the orders received while away, thanks for your patience. Next, I have piles of new merchandise waiting to be photographed for the website, working on that this week. New things have arrived, more tassel dolls, Limoges Boxes, Halcyon Boxes, Fabulous Fakes, glamour boxes and more! I'm working on a few of the tassel dolls this afternoon, welcome Aileen, Bliss, Lidia & Janalee to the website. These are brand new styles!! Then I'll take a break from the dolls and do some of the glamour crystal boxes, also new styles, my favorite two are the pink and blue baby carriages. These are the first carriages I've ever found in this type of box. Next week we will be off to the spring gift shows to find MORE NEW GOODIES!! Some of my customers have put in requests for certain merchandise so I'm taking my list. The plates are small dishes that can hold little things on your desk, or jewelry on your dresser, etc. Such pretty things!! 01/28/2005 Friday Everything TGIF!!! I've been busy! To pick up from my last entry - I was NOT the first one in the door the next morning, more like the LAST one in the door. When I returned to my hotel that night, completely exhausted, I ordered a room service meal then crashed. Woke up at midnight with FOOD POISINING. That certainly put a damper on my shopping plans for the morning. Finally recovered in the late afternoon then raced around and spent a fortune on NEW ITEMS for the website. These are just now starting to come in and I'm working on the listings now. If you see some broken images on the site, they are works in progress. The picture to your left is my 2 newest Valentine "Button Babies" perched on my NEW tassel furniture. You'll find the Tassel Doll furniture in the Tassel Doll department under the new cateogry "Furniture" which I'm working on this evening. The first item I added is a lovely pink & beige beaded tassel sofa. These display really nice with the smaller dolls like Tassel Dolls and Button Babies. I'm sure your Glamour Barbie Dolls would also look great. I have several more pieces to add.

Two large shipments of restock tassel dolls came in AND I have over 75 new ones on order. At least 10 new Halcyon Days boxes have already arrived, there are still lots more that I ordered and will arrive throughout the year. You will find the Limoges Boxes pages have some new boxes - check the Valentines category, the florals and candy boxes make for great Valentines Gifts.

01/16/2005 Sunday Everything The Head Vase Convention this weekend was over in the blink of an eye. Had a blast! Met a lot of old and new friends, had a GREAT sale in both the "In-room" sell and the public sell at the conference center on Saturday. I also bought a couple new heads for my own collection. I have hundreds of digital pictures and I'll start adding them to the site soon. From the Head Vase Convention, we flew straight to the trade shows and now finding so many new things for the website. I've already ordered over FIFTY new style tassel dolls and still miles of merchandise to explore. Each year their costumes are more beautiful, you will be amazed!! I had to end the shopping day early having had only 1 hour of sleep in two days, but tomorrow will be a full day of buying - I'll be the first in the door. I saw all 12 Jan. release Cameo girls in person and they are awesome!! Ordered more new "glamour boxes" and Halcyon Days boxes - still so much to see....stay tuned!

01/12/2005 Wednesday Head Vase Convention Tomorrow I leave for the Head Vase Convention in Orlando Florida! If you are in the area, stop by the Radisson Resort Parkway in Kissimee. The Saturday 1/15 Show & Sell is held in the hotel convention center and is open to the public. From the convention, I'll be heading right to the trade shows so watch for news about new items, I'll post next week as I order all the new merchandise for the website. 04/23/2004 Friday Italian Charms New charms and new bracelet concept! Email me if you have questions about the new "Mega Link" bracelets and charms that I just added to the lavello section. These are large link bracelets, that are double the size of the standard size charm. You can snap in TWO standard charms or use strictly MEGA links. Mix & match for a really cool look. I also added TWENTY-FOUR new standard size charms. 03/31/2004 Wednesday Cameo Girls Abigail Easter Bonnet!! Just in time for Easter. Our nice big shipment of this absolutely beautiful Cameo Girl has finally landed!!!!! All of you that preordered between December 2003 and March 2004 - your orders are ALL shipping this week!! We filled every preorder that we took, ordering was cut off just last week - she is SOLD OUT.

03/21/2004 Sunday Everything Happy Spring Time!! We still have a few of the 2004 mini easter eggs available - order today!! Can you believe spring is here?! We are back from our spring break - all orders placed last week while we were away, are packed and shipping on Monday and Tuesday this week. Thanks for being patient this last week!! We had a great 5 days off, skiing in UTAH and now ready to get back to serious work. I put up a few of the MudPie hinged boxes tonight, a couple new Halcyon boxes (the newest daughter box is beautiful!!), and a couple Limoges Boxes. Tuesday or Wednesday some new style tassel dolls are coming in so I will be adding MORE pictures to the site for those, they are brand new designs. Be sure to check back end of this week. Cameo girl shipments will also be in end of this month - many of you will receive the balance of your Cameo girl order very soon!!

These are the Spa Fund, Wedding Fund, Vacation Fund, Fashion Fund, and restock of all other banks that you love. There are 6 hinged boxes new to the site, their pictures will be working shortly.

02/02/2004 Monday Limoges Boxes Check out the new collection of Lady Limoges Boxes!! There are 4 gorgeous ladies in beautiful hats, and also a handsome man box - dressed in top hat and tails! The theme of this collection is "A Day at the Races" - the above pieces are the "Spectators" and I'll add "The Participants" boxes tomorrow. WOWOWOWOW! This is the coolest set I've seen from the Limoges folks in awhile.

02/02/2004 Monday Rucinni Rucinni shipment arrived today. Some restock, and several new boxes. Here's what I put up tonight: Lion, Ear of Corn with grasshopper on top, Frogs, bird, & butterfly. I have yet to finish the pictures for these: watermelon slice, turtles, orchid flower. Love them all!
