Tips:
1. Visit your local craft store such as Hobby Lobby or Michaels and stroll through
the fabric and trim departments. You'll get some great ideas for dressing your party girl.
Only 1/8 yard or less of fabric can be used to create
a gorgeous dress, or simply use 2 pieces of decorative ribbon to create "straps". Walmarts also has
a great fabric and trim department.
2. Hobby Lobby offers weekly classes. I took a 2 hour beginners Jewerly class and
quickly learned how to string beads and attach clasps. You can make some
really beautiful custom jewelry for your Party Girls with minimum funds!
You can also size down jewelry that you might find in the department stores.
There are always racks of jewelry in these department stores on sale
at incredibly low prices.
3. Tiarras! These are sold in all the craft and jewelry stores. The small sized
ones fit perfectly on your Party Girl.
4. There are no "holes" on any of the styles ears, so you can cut the posts off any earrings and
glue them to her ears, or make your own earrings with a flat back that can be glued.
5. Boa's and feathers really dress these girls up.
