Blythe A woman with a social conscience, in
1875 hid suffrage tracts in her ermine muff. In 1912 Blythe adored opera and
theatre. By the 30's, she was the darling of cafe society, an intellectual,
a painter of Cubist portraits and a writer of poetry and political diatribes.
1953 found Blythe fluent in five languages, employed as a translator for the
Ambassador to Gallardia. Elegantly coifed and attired, she made an impression
on the handsome and charming monarch of that fair land. In 1960, they were
wed to the sound of heraldic trumpets and festive one-stringed mandolins.
