Comments: Chrissy, I love your site. Thank you for having it! My first head vase belonged to my grandmother. My sister was going through some things in the attic and I saw her and said, "Oh where did you get her" She said she was Granny's, do you want her. "YES" "I love them" I searched for them for years and no one seem to have them. Then when I lost my younger brother I went to a small flower shop in MS to get some flowers for his grave and all along the top shelves were lady head vases. I admired them but was in no shape to even ask about them. Oh how I wished I had. I found my second in a little junk shop in Bumpus Mills TN while visiting relatives. She was way back in a dirty corner, very dirty herself. I paid $6.00 for her and thought I had struck gold. My mother gave me two small ones she had for many years and the same sister sent me another lovely one for my birthday one year. So I had six for may years, then I found one here in a gift shop about 10 years ago. She was $38. and so pre!tty. I put her with her sisters! One of my very dear friends I worked with for many years, that has passed away gave me the one she had bought in a gift shop when they first came out for .75 cents, for my birthday one year! I received many as gifts from people that knew how I love them. I now have 44 and do not look to ever find any more that I can afford. I cherish the ones I have. I also collect and love the New Cameo Girls. They are wonderful and should last a long time the way they are made. Comments: My Grandmother gave me a piece and I must confess, I knew nothing about these until reading an article in the paper yesterday and decided to do some research. I have a lady, who somewhat resembles Lucille Ball. She has reddish-blonde hair, thick black eyelashes, a lavander dress with flowers around the neckline and a white hat with lavender flowers to match. She also has pearl earrings. The bottom of the piece has the number c6018 and a made in Japan sticker. I would appreciate if anyone who had information on this piece would contact me via email. Thank you.

Comments: I wish I had the name of my head vase. She is 4 1/4 inches tall, blonde hair wide a wide rim hat. Her dress is a dark maroon with a white collar and the brim of her hat is the same color as her dress and then has a lighter color maybe salmon. She has her hand barely touching her cheek nad is wearing a white glove. Pearl drop erings. She has a silver sticker on the bottom "A Napco Ceramic Japan There is also a painted #A5046. I would love to find some similar to her. If anyone can give her a name please e-mail me.
